Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. She's English but her father was Nigerian. Her family was raised in the South London community estate, and at the age of fourteen, she attended The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained the BA in acting. She performed in various stages during her high college days, such as the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also a part of the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the previous two seasons would be leaving the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode of the season's new episode. She was Tituba in the TV series Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty as well as four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley did not have the ability to walk but she was able to dance. At the age of two, she began Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley was addicted to dance from that moment. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. She was crowned the top soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
