Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd won her next match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO second-round victory. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
